Plenty of rain has fallenĀ over the past 24 hours, and as we know most of it ends up in the gulf. But there have been increasingly loud calls for storm water harvesting across the Adelaide metro area.
This week it seemed the state government had finally heard those calls, and announced its ‘Water For Good’ plan. A plan that the government says will ensure our water supply to 2050 by harvesting up to 60 gigalitres a year.
But a number of experts say the time frame is too long, and we should aim to be harvesting that amount of storm water within 10 years.
