Non-violent resistance against US/Australia military exercises

Australia’s defence force will be joining with the US military for joint exercises soon. The Talisman Saber are biennial exercises to test ADF/US combat readiness and interoperability, they get underway in a weeks time focusing on operational and tactical interoperability through a high end, medium intensity scenario involving live, virtual and constructive forces.

Meanwhile, anti-war veteran Ciaron O’Reilly is planning on a non-violent resistance to the exercises.

Ciaron has been involved in many such actions, including disabling a U.S. war plane prior to the invasion of Iraq.
