After the devastating events in Norway and the culprit’s admission regarding a video game being used as part of his training simulation, the spotlight is now firmly being shone on the need for censorship and classification on video games.
Currently Australia does not carry an R18+ video game classification so it begs the question, is it necessary or should we flat-out ban these violent video games?
Tim Brunero spoke to Greens MLC David Shoebridge who is of the opinion that an R18+ rating is needed.
