It seems Premier Rann is running out of time. Apparently, last Friday, right wing factional heavyweights came to him and told him he has to go before September so they can install someone from the Left Faction. Understandably, Rann was angry – he wants go resign a few months into next year so he can have 10 years in the job and beat Don Dunstan and John Bannon for length time as premier. If the issue is forced to a ballot it will get messy. Well just how messy could this get? Tim Brunero spoke to Adelaide University’s Prof. Clem MacIntyre and Tim asked him if this was expected.
