Counting the homeless; The Australian Census

You should have already got – or in the next few days be getting  – the census… delivered to your home… 10 million will be distributed to every house in the land.

But some people who might find it a bit hard to complete are the homeless… and when they do complete it, it’s really important they fill it out because it’s how governments know how many homeless there are and where to target support services.

Given it’s National Homeless Person’s Week – Tim Brunero spoke to the people behind the census, The Australian Bureau of Statistics.

  1. notice that you homeless people same as we in saskatchewan canada.. we seem to have the same problem here.we have homeless people in the urban areas and people less houses in rural areas.do you also have a conservative government too???
