Tony Abbott: Interview With Author Susan Mitchell

We’ve done a lot of talking about Julia Gillard in the last year – she’s getting kicked out of the lodge, she’s being accused to lying about the Carbon Tax, she’s being portrayed in a TV show having sex under the Australian Flag on the floor, she’s getting challenged by Kevin Rudd.
But there’s hardly ever scrutiny of Tony Abbott, even though he’s closer to being PM than any Opposition Leader in history. In fact he’s only a heartbeat away from the top job,  if just one Labor member dies he’ll contest a by-election which on current polling he’d probably win, and then take the top job.
But what do we really know about him?
A new book by Susan Mitchell called “Tony Abbott – A Man’s Man” has just been released, and Tim Brunero spoke to author Susan Mitchell.

Arming Prison Officers: Greg Smith – NSW Attorney General

One person opposed to the plan is NSW Attorney-General Greg Smith and he spoke to Tim Brunero about why the NSW Government is opposed to the proposition.
