Problem Gambling ACOSS And The Federal Budget: Dr. Cassandra Goldie

The county is looking at a deficit of $37 billion, but Treasurer Wayne Swan reckons he can make this a $1.5 billion surplus.
In order to keep their promise to voters, the Labor Government is making some deep cuts to the public service sector and social services, as well as increasing student fees. The baby bonus for stay-at-home mums has been cut and the public sector union is predicting job loses (maybe up to 3000) and they hope to means test private health insurance rebate, which will cut some high income households out of the public purse.
Doctor Cassandra Goldie is the CEO of the Australian Council of Social Service, and she spoke to Tim Brunero.
