With the 2012 NAPLAN scores for South Australia leaving much to be desired, it looks like our state is in need of a solution to childhood learning.
A non-profit organisation in the United States seems to have the right idea.
826 Valencia is a free service dedicated to supporting students aged six to eighteen with their writing skills, and for helping teachers inspire their students to write.
Tim Brunero spoke to a local South Australian, Clara Sankey, who has found herself interning at 826 Valencia as well as the Director of Education, Emilie Coulson.
