On average, it is understood that over 100,000 people are homeless on any given night around Australia. Of this figure, 12 to 18 year olds represent the largest percentage and are the highest users of specialist homelessness services
With damning figures such as these, it’s no wonder campaigns such as Youth Homelessness Matters Day are warranted.
