Did you know that a significant portion of SANFL funding comes from pokies?

Well the machines generate $28 million of the league’s annual $115 million revenue.

Is this an unethical relationship?

There are proposed gaming reforms threatening this income and some big names in the league are voicing their concerns over the harsh reality that no club will survive without poker machines. 

CEO of the Sturt Football Club, Matt Benson spoke to Angus Randall about the future of SANFL funding.
