You might have recently seen an Aboriginal art decorated tram cruising through Adelaide.
Joylene Thomas is a proud Kokatha woman who has been the main actor in getting that tram on the rails. She’s a Principal Policy Officer within the Department of Planning, Transport And Infrastructure.
The tram is on track from May until the end of July to coincide with Reconciliation and NAIDOC events.
The decorative work represents 39 Aboriginal cultural groups residing within South Australia.
Nunga Wangga spoke to Joylene Thomas and asked who has funded this decorative tram.
Producer: Christine Brown
