Each year 1000 young people experiencing tough times like homelessness are referred to the St John’s Youth Services.
The St John’s Next Step Program aims to break the cycle of homelessness, and give young people the opportunity to take the next step into establishing an independent life.
They focus on providing and assisting young people with accommodation, finance, employment and education.
Tim Brunero spoke to Wendy Malycha, CEO of St John’s Youth Service about how the Next Step Program is helping many young lives take the next step into a more independent life.
