The Federal Government has been formulating plans to take greater care of our aged LGBTI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual and Intersex) community and the Minister for Mental Health & Ageing – The Hon. Mark Butler – is leading the charge in developing a national LGBTI aged care strategy.
Tim spoke to Mark Butler this morning about his hopes and aims in providing extensive health care for elderly folks in the community.
