Well at a time when occupy protests are prominent around the world as everyday people attempt to take on giant global corporations, a group of Woodville residents have proven that we can have a voice.
In a win that’s been compared to Aussie film ‘The Castle’, home owners have successfully challenged the plan for a 24 hour McDonald’s restaurant to be built on Port Road, close to their homes and just 200 meters from Woodville Primary School.
Angus Randall spoke to the Mayor of Charles Sturt, Kirstin Alexander, about the decision.
