Well the high cost of living hits many people hard here in South Australia, and our public schools are no exception.
It’s believed that almost every school in South Australia is struggling with maintenance and utilities bills that exceed the allocated budgets. This results in amounts of more than $60,000 being taken from other important areas.
Bill Walter spoke with the president of the South Australian Secondary Principals Association, Jan Paterson, about the impacts these costs are having on schools.
