All good things must come to an end, and sadly Jessica’s ‘Ramble Across America’ is one of them. This morning she signed off by delving into the life changing moments that affected people she met, and found out a couple of things about herself along the way.

When planning a story reporters have a specific focus they pursue, but sometimes the story doesn’t come to fruition because there’s nothing news worthy there. A good reporter though will have their eyes and ears open for a different angle that can make the story more engaging.
This week Jess headed into the New York subway looking for stories of the dark under belly of that city. She expected to hear stories of crime and muggings…. but the story went in a completely new direction.
