Government backs down on youth allowance changes
The federal Labor party has backed down over planned changes to youth allowance for regional and rural students – changes that will now cost them $300 million.
Catherine Zengerer asked President of the National Union of Students, Jesse Marshall, why rural and regional students weren’t going to be eligibale for payments under the government’s proposed changes.
