Catching up with livestock at the Royal Adelaide Show

We all remember the show as kids… the excitement of going just to get a couple of show bags.

However the show wasn’t always about the ferris wheels, fairy floss and following the Yellow Brick Road.

Back in the late 1800s, it was primarily a livestock, produce and agricultural exhibit.

The show today is still loaded with livestock and produce events… which bring farmers from all over Australia.

Beef Cattle Chairman, Jock Goff from Mintaro in the Clare Valley is helping to run the cattle section at this year’s Royal Adelaide Show and he spoke to Tim Brunero from the cattle sheds at Wayville.
