All talk and no action on carbon emission cuts

2011 has seen Australia have quite an environmental year. We have been inundated with talk about carbon emissions, taxes and climate change. All sides of politics have spoken out on their opinion regarding our responsibility in preserving the Earth for future generations.

Amongst all that talk and policy, a report released yesterday by the Global Carbon Project has indicated that 2010 saw a surge in global carbon emissions.

With 2011 drawing to a close, are we looking at another increase or does shining the spotlight on our global emissions ensure we are closer to terminating our polluting ways?

Tim Brunero spoke about these statistics from the Global Carbon Project and whether or not we should be worried with the CEO of the Climate Institute, John Connor.
