On the subject of ethics Aristotle said this about philanthropy, “To give away money is an easy matter and within any person’s power. But to decide to whom to give it and how large and when, and for what purposes and how, is neither in everyone’s power nor an easy matter
Could you ever see yourself handing everything you own to a charity? If you could, what charity would it be?
One such charity is Cystic Fibrosis SA and it was within the power of Burnside resident, Vera Lane, who bequeathed her entire estate.
Tim Brunero spoke to the CEO of Cystic Fibrosis SA, Carolyn Donlan, to tell us what the donation will mean for the organisation.
