Stray cats strut their stuff

A population of rampantly breeding feral cats is no laughing matter, especially if you’re the Waikato SPCA and your idea for a microchipping bylaw to curb the issue is mocked by the media.

But the New Zealand animal welfare organisation is warning city councillors in Hamilton that stray cats are stretching its limited resources to breaking point.
