Cycling for Cystic Fibrosis

The average city cycle can leave one feeling a bit puffed.

But that’s nothing compared to the constant feeling of breathlessness that comes with Cystic Fibrosis.

The genetic disorder affects three thousand Australians, and today is 65 Roses Day, named after a small boy misheard his mother talking about cystic fibrosis.

Walter van Praag has cystic fibrosis, but that hasn’t stopped him from living a crazy adventurous life. He’s headed off on a daring trip later in the year, and Angus Randall spoke with him about this and how he’s dealt with this condition.

To find out more or donate, you can visit the 65 Roses Day website and Walter’s Coughing4CF site.
