Vitriol turns to profit!

When Californian feminist blogger Anita Sarkeesian started an online campaign to fund a research project on gender in video games, she never thought it would end with vitriol and misogyny.

This week saw the premiere of Channel Ten’s reality series, Being Lara Bingle, and the twittersphere went into melt down before, during, and after the program’s airing.

But what of these internet bullies who prey on women with uninformed, sexist and misogynistic attacks?

To discuss this increasing phenomenon in the internet age,  blogger, author and avid tweeter Clementine Ford spoke to Tim Brunero.
