Follow the sun

Australian artist Xavier Rudd is no stranger to the airwaves.

With many albums under his belt, including Solace, White Moth and Dark Shade of Blue, his latest musical venture, the new album Spirit Bird, is garnering plenty of attention from audiences both here and around the world.

Not only is he an accomplished musician, but he is also well-known for his work with PETA,  was awarded the ‘2009 Paul Watson Sea Sheperd Rock The Boat Award’ and also won the ‘World’s Sexiest Vegentarian Celebrity’ award in 2007.

He’s currently on tour and he joined Tim Brunero all the way from L.A. to discuss music, the history of the ‘yidaki’, indigenous land rights and the plight of the Sea Shepard.
