A helping hand for reconciliation

Volunteering is a genereous and humble act, but can often be taken for granted or go overlooked.

But not this week! It’s NAIDOC week, and the focus is to celebrate the contributions of Indigenous volunteers.

The Aboriginal Reference Group provides support for Indigenous Communities with mentoring programs, working closely with health sectors, the police and schools, trying to meet the needs of local communties.

Bruce Hammond is the chair of the ARG and he spoke to Tim Brunero about all that Indigenous volunteers are working ot acheive in SA and the Northern Territory.
