Building the future

Millard Fuller became the fulfilment of the American Dream – a self-made millionaire by the age of 29.

A mere nine years later at the age of 38, he and his wife Linda gave their money away and began a life of service to the poor. Their chosen area of service is one our Australian Dreams – Home Ownership.

Millard believed that : “The poor need capital, not charity”, and founded a not for profit organisation called ‘Habitat for Humanity’.

To tell us about Habitat for Humanity’s work in Australia, and Adelaide,  Louise Hay joined Tim Brunero in the Studio.
