Biting back at Bill Shock

Last year Australian Telco’s brought in over $557 million dollars from consumers exceeding their plans, which has resulted in many Australians experiencing ‘bill shock’.

As a result, The Australian Communication and Media Authority has stepped up with the Telecommunications Consumer Protection Code set to impose tough new rules on Australian Telco’s.

Angus Randall spoke to deputy chairman of The Australian Communication and Media Authority, Richard Bean about the code and what it will mean for consumers.
