With billions now connected to social media websites around the world, it is little wonder that our personal privacy is becoming harder to maintain, but should that extend to the courtroom?

A group of South Australian judges and public servants is currently debating the use of social media websites, such as Twitter, being used in court by members of the media and others.

To discuss this issue Tim Brunero spoke to ABC Legal Services  lawyer Grant Macavaney.
