ARIA award winning Bunna Lawrie

A young boy growing up on an Aboriginal mission near Ceduna never imagined that his love of poetry and music would bring him such rewards and honours, including an ARIA award presented by Elton John.

Bunna Lawrie would have to be one of the most awarded Aboriginal musicians around, and he is still making music and still getting awards.

Nunga Wangga chatted with him about some of the highlights of his 35 year career which doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
