MIFSA – helping people with mental illness

Mental illness can affect anyone.

1 in 5 of us will experience or have an issue with mental illness each year – that’s 20% of Australians affected each year.

Mental Illness Fellowship South Australia (MIFSA) is a not for profit organisation that delivers a range of programs and services for people experiencing mental illness.

Tim Brunero spoke to the CEO of MIFSA, Stephanie Papps, and Ian, a person who has been living with mental illness for the past 20 years.

Ian spoke about how mental illness has affected his life, how he deals with it and the challenges he faces every day.
