Refugees fleeing Syria put strain on Turkey

The bitter consequence of war short of death is fleeing one’s home amidst the hail of bullets and bombs. As the government forces of Bashar al-Assad and the Free Syrian Army tear their country apart the steadily growing number of refugees are fleeing for the Turkish and Jordanian borders.

As pressure mounts in words alone from the international community, Assad refuses to stand down. Director of Sage International Doctor John Bruni and Angus Randall discussed the growing refugee crisis, and the potential for international intervention.
