Streetwise and saving lives

If the Australian Red Cross wasn’t already an astounding humanitarian service available to all Australians, another initiative has been designed by Red Cross College that will go a long way in ensuring the safety of those less fortunate.

Streetwise First Aid is a unique new service offering accredited training to ensure people with learning, language and literacy difficulties now have free access to first aid skills.

Jodie Sachs, developer of Streetwise First Aid, joined us in the studio this morning to discuss the initiative and the impact Australian Red Cross hopes to have in equipping less fortunate Australians with these essential skills.

To learn more about the program and get involved call Jamie Broydon, Business Manager at the Red Cross College, on 0417080472.
