Courageous Cowdrey creates golden history

South Australian Matt Cowdrey this week created history and became Australia’s most decorated Paralympian swimming his way to an eleventh Paralympic gold medal.

Competing in his third Paralympic event, the 23 year old croweater was born without part of his arm. What he has achieved at the past three Paralympics has been truly inspirational, and there is still plenty of fire in the belly for Rio in 2016.

Angus Randal spoke with South Australian Sports Institute’s acting program manager Tania Paterson, to get an update on all things Paralympics.
