Frisbees fly far from home

For many frisbee is merely a picnic past-time. But for a group of young Australian athletes it is a chance to travel the world and represent their country.

The bi-annual World Junior Ultimate Championships were held in August, with 1200 athletes from 20 countries converging in Dublin.

Two of those athletes were Tim Davis and Jodie Palmer who may only be 19, but have already represented their country in the world championships for Ultimate Frisbee as two of the three South Australian team members.

Tim and Jodie joined Angus Randall in the studio to set everyone’s frisbee techniques straight!
