Reporting the Unreportable

Suicide is a touchy issue in the media because it should be dealt in an appropriate manner that doesn’t encourage copycat suicides

There are debates on whether there should be more media exposure  to raise awareness which could prevent and decrease the attempts and deaths by suicide.

Tim Brunero caught up with Michael O’Connell, the Commissioner for Victims’ Rights to find out why the media struggles when covering such a prevalent issue.
