Aid and Advocacy in Afghanistan

Imagine living and working in Afghanistan; waking up every day in a totally different culture, a treacherous landscape and a troubled climate.

Australian Red Cross worker, Peter Giugni has been in Khost helping families who have been separated by conflict to keep in touch, running health programs for civilians, visit detainees in prisons and working to ensure the safety and wellbeing of people on all sides of conflict.

He spoke with Tim Brunero about his experiences.
