Vitamin-imum benefits?

If you’ve watched television or strolled down the aisles of your local supermarket lately, you may have noticed an increase in the number of children’s vitamins on the market.

A recent study by IMS health has revealed a 20 percent rise in children’s vitamin sales over the past year. Vitamins that are cleverly disguised as sweet and colourful shapes and flavours.

So are these supplements the right choice for children? Or are they too freely used as an alternative to a healthy diet? Bill Walter spoke with nutritionist Dr. Rosemary Stanton to find out.
