Food Scarcity a global issue

As you sit down to your next meal, take a second to think about how you got that food?

It’s likely you walked into your pantry and plucked it right off the shelf which is the simple, affordable and convenient option.

However, unfortunately not everyone has that luxury. Food scarcity is a serious issue across the globe, which was highlighted yesterday at the Natural Resources in Demand symposium held at the University of Adelaide.

Bill Walter spoke with  International Agricultural Policy Specialist, Dr Derek Byerlee , to discuss food scarcity and its implications.
