Whales bilbies and gas giants

James Price Point, near Broome in the Kimberley, is recognised as a place of great national significance with cultural and environmental value.

Despite its importance, it is now under grave threat from Australian energy company Woodside and partners who are looking to unlock the natural gas of the Browse Basin right in the middle of a humpback whale nursery.

This would be the world’s largest gas processing plant and is likely to critically endanger species of plants and animals.
