I think that I shall never see…

Most of us seem to think that poetry is a rather strange form of writing that we hated during high school, and hoped never to have to touch again.

So what is it about poetry that causes grown adults to actually read – and write – it? And stand up in pubs to perform it to each other?

To tell us about poetry in general, and Slam Poetry in particular, Angus Randall spoke to Mike Hopkins and Jill Wherry, who are in Adelaide for the Poetry Slam finals which will be held at Higher Ground tomorrow night at 7:00pm.
