Ceasefire fading from sight

This morning’s ceasefire agreement reportedly reached in through negotiations in Egypt appear to have been stifled. Israeli forces have mobilised near the Gaza border preparing for a possible invasion as their government demands  a long-term solution to the conflict.

The question to be asked, however, is what long-term solution is possible considering the conflict has lasted for decades, and is rooted throughout almost a century of history.  Dr Minerva Nasser-Eddine from Flinders University’s School of International Studies joined Angus Randall and gave her impressions of the ‘long-term solution’ rhetoric considering the conflict’s tenure.
