Mental Health Sector Facing Further Cuts

r185023_687925The already diminished mental health sector is facing further losses as the State Government hears from the McCann healthcare review.

The review recommends cutting youth services and combining other services to lessen the bulging health budget. Many of these cuts are being fought by large groups of the public and not for profit organisations.

Local government and not for profits are those who will be footing the bill if the government pulls its funding from these areas. Angus Randall was joined by Felicity Ann Louis, Mayor of the City of Marion to discuss the outcomes of the cuts.
